Myra's smiling face will be missed ! Her positive spirit was so warm and contagious. She truly made you feel special. We shared a hug good bye the last time we seen each other. Until we meet again........
Thirty -five years ago when we lived on Barbara St. in Sun Prairie, Myra and Wilbert were part of the neighborhood group who all got together for the "garage" parties. We had so many good times there, and Myra was always so much fun, and as other people have mentioned, she had that "twinkle" in her eyes. Our sincere sympathies to her family at this sad time, as we know she will be missed.
When I think back to growing up on Laura Street I always think of Myra Beck. She had so much love in her heart that it touched everyone. I will always remember her kind words and the smiles that she gave so willingly to all. Gary, Cheryl and Cindy, I will hold the many memories of your mother close to my heart. Peace and love to you.
I am so glad we got to spend some time this summer playing cards at the cabin with Myra. We all laughed so hard that I thought we were all going to wet our pants. It was one of those nights that a person never wanted to end. I will never forget all the fun times we have had over the years. Myra had such a great personality and she was so fun to be around. I enjoyed teasing her! Now her and Willy are playing cards again together in heaven. She will be missed by everyone.
Myra and Wilbert were my favorites!! Myra would like me sit on her lap when they played cards. She would let me throw the card out on the table. And of course you had to slam your fist on the table when doing it! It was always a contest between Wilbert, Sam Ernise and me. Myra would just keep talking in her sweet way and hug me. I'll miss her beautiful smile and sparkling eyes! Peace.
Cheryl, Cindy & Gary,
I am saddened to hear of the loss of your Mother. I have only the fondest memories of your Mother and Father. Your Mother was always kind, loving and full of laughter. My heart warms when I think of her. God Bless you and your families.
I was so sadden when I heard the news. Never in my life have I met anyone like Myra Beck, she was one of a kind. That smile, her infectious laugh and love of life brings back such great memories of growing up on Laura St. I feel blessed to have known such a great lady. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Beck family.
Heaven has gained a wonderful person! We have lost a great neighbor, awesome friend and a loving Grandma-like figure to our children! The Blatter Family will miss our gatherings, long talks and laughs!
The world is a lot poorer without Myra Beck, who always was friendly and upbeat, even in adversity. She was the highlight of the Laura St. neighborhood and we'll always cherish the memories of the good times we had with her and Wilbert.
I don't even know what to say. What a special lady, Myra was one of kind and Henry and I loved her so much. Henry always had that special twinkle in his eye when he got to spend time with her. The times we spent at the cabin were the best times ever and they will forever be cherished. So many memories to hang on to. My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Beck family and know that you are in my heart and my prayers. I love you guys.
Cheryl, Cindy & Gary,
