At Cress, we believe grief is not something that can be rushed, nor does it have a timeline. We feel it is important to help individuals understand the process of grief and mourning, normalize feelings and facilitate the healing process.
To assist us in providing our families and our community with grief support services, we have built strong relationships with trusted grief counselors to provide support, education, resources, and most of all hope in dealing with grief.
The Heartlight Center is a non-profit organization providing meaningful, accessible grief support and education.
Kristen E. Ernst, MA, LPC is the owner of The Center of Hope and Healing. She provides free virtual grief sessions for the community on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month. Her virtual sessions can be joined here.
Dr. Alan Wolfelt, a respected grief counselor and author, is the director of the Center for Loss and Life Transition. You can learn more about him here.
