Sandra Miller

January 23, 1942 — April 3, 2020

Stoughton- Sandra “Sandy” Miller, age 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 3, 2020, Jesus took Sandra in His arms to her heavenly home.  She was born in Beloit on January 23, 1942, the daughter of Howard Moffitt and Esther Bennett.  Sandy graduated from Stoughton High School in 1960.  On September 24, 1959 she married Stanley Miller.  Together they enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Sandy spent her life raising children and caring for others.  Stan and Sandy were part of the founding members of Good Shepherd by the Lake Lutheran Church.  Sandy is survived by her four sons, Mark (Chris) Miller, Mike Miller, Mitchell (Patrice) Miller and Matthew (Laura) Miller; 11 grandchildren, Amanda (Paul) Updike, Travis Miller, Elizabeth (Josh) Rasmussen, Addy Miller, Keaton (Cass) Miller, Brandon Miller, Alexis Miller, Mitchell (Brenna) Miller Jr., Sandra Miller, Emily Miller, and Cayden Miller; seven great grandchildren; three sisters, Joan (Keith) Wiersum, Jane Bennett and Carol (Bill Hinman) Christopher; brother, Sam (Deb) Bennett; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; step father, Sam Bennett; husband, Stanley Miller; and sister, Judy Jenson.  Private burial was held in Lutheran Cemetery South.  A Celebration of Sandy’s life will be held with time and date to be announced.  Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd by the Lake Lutheran Church, 1860 US HWY 51, Stoughton, WI, 53589.  A special thank you to the Stoughton EMS, and the staff of St. Mary’s Hospital ICU 5 Northwest.  Please share your memories of Sandy by posting on her Tribute Wall.
