Phillip Rodenschmit Jr.

May 15, 1964 — July 4, 2020

Rodenschmit Jr., Phillip Todd

Middleton / Madison:  Phillip was born May 15, 1964 and was called home to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 4, 2020.

Phillip had a BIG personality. As a kid he was always a daredevil.  If he wasn’t going 100 mph on his dirt bike, he was doing gainers off the Sauk City bridge with his brother Eric and their friends.  Phil enjoyed shooting a good game of pool, bowling  and watching the Green Bay Packers.  Of course it was more fun if you put a wager on it, everything was game on with Phil.

He was also so happy working alongside and hanging out with the Kerns family cousins.  Phillip like listening to the radio and could rattle off musicians and their songs on one of his favorite stations 94.9. He loved the Lord and gained  strength when listening to 102.5.

He was a fast talker, and you usually couldn’t get a word in.  One of the phrases he was known for was “long story short.”.   But if you knew Phil, there was never anything short about his stories.  Phil’s family meant everything to him.  There is so much more to Phil’s story, but God had better plans for him.  His innocent golden heart will be forever cherished and remembered by his family.

Phil is survived by his sisters; Kim (Tim) Hameister, and Teresa (Mike) Lankey, and brother Eric (Vicki) Rodenschmit.  They are grateful for God bringing them together as a family.

Phil is further survived by a large extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie and Phil Sr.

Due to the current Covid restrictions, a gathering of family and friends to celebrate Phil’s life will be held at a later date.

“Phillip, our family chain has broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, our chain will link again.”
