Natalie Langkilde

On March 24, 2020, Natalie Langkilde (Sun Prairie, Wisconsin) passed away at the age of 58, one month after surgery to remove a brain tumor. She was able to be at home with family and pets. Natalie was born January 10, 1962 in Sacramento, California to Howard Earle Porter and Rosalind Marie Porter. She was preceded in death by Howard.

Natalie loved children and animals and always had a knitting project going for her kids or grandkids. She was creative, incredibly strong and very funny. She will be deeply missed. Natalie is survived by her husband Lennart; children Melissa Langkilde, Elin, Christopher and Alex Maki; daughter in law Kristi Kay Maki; and grandchildren Isabelle, Charlotte, Henry, and Emmeline Maki.

Natalie was a regular volunteer at Shelter from the Storm animal shelter in Madison, WI. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to direct donations to the shelter in honor of her memory https://www.sftsrescue.org/donate.
