Nancee Trowbridge

Sun Prairie – Nancee Lee Trowbridge, age 79, passed away on Thursday February 11, 2021.  She was born February 28, 1941 in Platteville, Wisconsin to the late Leland and Helen (Heathcote) Johnson.  Nancee graduated from UW Madison, and also graduated from Silver Lake College.  Nancee resided in other cities over the years like Greendale, Madison, Manitowoc and Sun Prairie since 2000.  She was active at Lark United Methodist Church where she directed outreach ministry, directed choir and was an advisor for Christian Women’s Club, chairman of Camp Forest in Forest Junction.  She enjoyed showing and racing Siberian Huskies for 25 years.  Nancee enjoyed cats, crocheting, needlework, raising violets, and even helped to start and become secretary of the Manitowoc County Humane Society.

Nancee is survived by her son Tim (Julie) Trowbridge; granddaughter Emily Kathryn Trowbridge, grandson Zachary Trowbridge; sister-in-law Dawn Johnson; nephews Christian and Caleb Johnson and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers James Milton Johnson and George Joseph Johnson.

A private service will be held followed by burial at Sunset Memory Gardens.
