Lois Rothen

Stoughton- Lois M. Rothen, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at her home.  She was born in Stoughton on February 23, 1930, the daughter of Martin and Laura Seamonson.

Lois attended Stoughton schools.  On August 2, 1952 she married Herman Rothen. They lived in Janesville for many years until his death in 2001.  Lois was a member of Covenant Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and cards.

Lois is survived by her brother, Jim (Joyce) Seamonson; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two sisters, Audrey Quam and Marian Rambo.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Covenant Lutheran Church, 1525 N. Van Buren Street, Stoughton, with Rev. Wendy Moen officiating.  Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon, immediately following, in the church fellowship hall.  Burial will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery in Janesville.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services Saturday at church.
