Kendall Duhr

Kendall J. Duhr passed away at home on August 9th, 2021. He was born in Richland Center, WI in 1957 to Frederick and Maureen (Dyer) Duhr. He graduated from Waunakee in 1976 and was a respected athlete. He married Kristi Voss and had 2 sons. For those who knew Kendall, they would understand this obituary won’t do him justice because words on paper can’t fully encapsulate who he was. He was passionate about everything and everybody he loved. Kendall ran his family’s bar for decades. Whether he was a force to be reckoned with on the softball field, working out, riding his motorcycle, playing cards—he did everything  110%. He was generous and indescribably kind. He had a heart of gold. He never hesitated to help others out and never let anyone go without. He was a mix of stubborn and lovable, all the way to the end. He made friends wherever he went, whether it be traveling up north or to the West Coast, down South or everywhere in between to spend time with family or root on the Packers. His smile, humor and laugh were contagious, and he will be so dearly missed (DUH BUH).

He is survived by his sons, Dylan (Coni) Duhr, and Bronson Duhr; grandchildren, Skylar Duhr and Austin Duhr; brothers, Terry (Arlene, special friend) Duhr, Rocky Duhr, John (Judy Hellenbrand) Duhr, Thomas Duhr, and Todd (Sue) Duhr, nieces; nephews; cousins; his Springfield Family; as well as too many friends to count. He is preceded in death by his parents and by the loving mother of his two children, Kristi Duhr.

Funeral service will be held on Friday Aug 13, 2021 at St Martins Lutheran Church, 2427 Church St. in Cross Plains, WI . Friends may call at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home, 5785 Hwy Q, in Waunakee on Thursday, Aug 12 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and again on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
