Gene Lamb

Gene Lamb, Sr., age 77, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022.

Gene worked as a custodian for the State of Wisconsin for 25 years. After retiring from the State of Wisconsin, he worked for the City of Madison as a crossing guard. He took great pride in making sure kids made it to and from school safely.

Gene loved to spend time gardening with his wife, Penny. He also loved to go fishing whenever he had a chance. He also enjoyed watching Nascar racing on Sunday afternoons.

Gene was preceded in death by his son, Dustin, and stepdaughter, Dory.

He is survived by his loving wife, Penny; son, Gene; stepdaughters, Stacy (Weldon), Becky (Terry); grandsons, Torren, Justin (Nahomi), Nicholas; special granddaughter, Kyah; and great-granddaughters, Aria and Liliana.

A celebration of life will be held at the Vilas Park Shelter on June 5, 2022, from 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
