Edwin Mehltretter

Ed Mehltretter, 90, peacefully passed on Jan 17, 2021, at St Mary's hospital.  He was born June 25, 1930 to Henry And Eleanor Mehltretter in Fort Atkinson.  There, he was raised and graduated from Fort Atkinson High School.  He later served in the Army, during the Korean war.
He married the love of his life, Marjorie Olson, on November 15, 1951 and spent the next 69 years together.  They had 2 children.  Ed started "Ed's Appliance Service" with Marj as his secretary.  He worked at his business over 50 years, repairing appliances.  He enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing, bowling, dancing, and cars.
Ed is survived by his loving wife, Marj; children, Debbie (Tom) Vallette and Dennis(Sue); granddaughter Lacey Mehltretter; sisters, Lillian and Jane; and many other relatives.
