Charlotte Helen Braund, age 91, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on November 22, 2021. She was born July 25, 1930, in Hillsboro, WI, the daughter to Henry and Ella (Erickson) Rowley. Charlotte was united in marriage to Andrew Braund on November 27, 1948.Together they were married 72 years and raised 3 sons.

Charlotte was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She worked for 29 years at Oscar Mayer and was member of the Eagle’s Auxiliary.

She will be remembered for her joy of playing Euchre, square dancing, visiting casinos, camping, and knitting. Traveling with her husband to 49 of the 50 states also brought her great joy.

Charlotte was proud to be Irish, and she celebrated her heritage by displaying Irish memorabilia around her home.

She is survived by her husband Andrew; sons Daniel (Linda), Dale (Judy) and Donald (Sandra) Braund; her grandchildren Matthew (Laura) Braund, Kristina (Andrew) Attwood, Timothy (Joy) Braund and Heather (Eric) Kotleski; great- grandchildren Grace, Aric, Jade and Sophia and sister Una Havlik. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Orve (Ruth) Rowley, Lavina Guthrie, Kathryn (Lorrin “Jim”) Schroeder, Bernice Rowley and Pat (Evan: John” Dabson.

Funeral services will be held at Cress Funeral Home, 3325 East Washington Avenue on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow service at Highland Memory Gardens.
