Carmen Calderon

SUN PRAIRIE—Carmen L. Calderon passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the age of 58.   She was born on September 6, 1963 in Truth or Consequences New Mexico to Johnny and Belen (Cadena) Trujillo.

Carmen loved spending time with her grandkids, doing puzzles, art projects, crocheting, listening to music, collecting clown’s, elephant’s and spending quality time with her family cracking jokes. Over the past years Carmen has worked at Ultratech, UW Hospital, and Graber.

Carmen is survived by her children Brandy Calderon (Shaelon Wolford), Adrianna Calderon (Corinne), and Juan Carlos Calderon Jr.; and grandchildren Michael, Nathan, Jacob, Juliana, Elijiah, and Addison. She is further survived by her sister Clarita Chambers (Jeff); two brothers Jay Trujillo (Catalina) and Randy Trujillo (Tammy); nieces and nephews Brieanna, Melissa, Sabrina (Ian), Johnny, Juanita, Randy, Lakinn (Satchel), Anthony, Suzette, and Andrew; great nieces and nephews Isaiah, Brandon, Aiden, Izayah, Starr, Onyx, Dante, Alivia, and Kayne.  We would like to also include all of Carmen’s extended grandkids Caden, Ethan, Frankie, Margo, Mariann, AJ, Lily, and Athen; and many other relatives and friends.

Carmen was preceded in death by her mom Belen Trujillo, uncle Henry Cadena, grandparents Charlie and Lucy Cadena, niece Suzette Cadena, and nephew Jason Cadena.

Visitation will be from 1-3 PM on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME in Sun Prairie.  No formal service will be held.

The family wishes to thank Lisa and Kayla for all the food.  A gathering after the visitation will be held at Brandy and Shaelon’s house 621 Woodview Dr. Sun Prairie, WI 53590.
