Anthony Fleming

February 24, 1995 — June 9, 2022

Middleton

Middleton - Anthony Davis Fleming, 27, was found deceased in his apartment in Middleton on Thursday, June 9, 2022. He died from natural causes resulting from Idiopathic Hypersomnia (IH). His disease began six years ago after the death of his beloved sister Erica. IH is a neurological sleep disorder that affects many aspects of life. His disease became very severe, and he had received treatment that was beginning to show progress. He and his family were thrilled medications were waking him up, and he was getting back to the normal life that he so desired and deserved. It is suspected his death was caused by an IH sleep attack, and he fell in the night.

Tony, our beautiful child, lived an exceptional life. He was well-schooled and well-traveled. Everybody loved him, and he had the best friends in the world. He was the guy people wanted to be with. The Madison high school friends and the Boulder college friends merged because of Tony. You all know who you are.

Tony loved his family most of all. His sister Sydney describes him as the rock of our family. Living without him will be unbearable for us.

Preceding him in death are his sister Erica, grandparents Jean McKenzie, John and Bonnie Livesey, and Kathy Fleming. Also, Tim McKenzie, his uncle. Tony has a great crew in Heaven to be with.

Survivors are Lisa and John Livesey (parents), John (Jake) and Sydney Livesey (brother and sister), his dog Betty, and the McKenzie, Livesey and Fleming families.

There will be no formal funeral services and the family requests privacy at this time. At a later date, we will have a celebration of life, and we look forward to seeing you there.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Taft Street Boys and Girls Club of Dane County. This Club on Taft Street serves the youngest members of our community.

Whenever you catch a fish, please think of Tony. He will be with you.
