Our dear son, Zack Parkin, 19, surrendered to a three year battle with depression in the comfort of his home on February 21. He is survived by his parents Ping Sun and Kirk Parkin, brother Archer and extended family in New York, Washington and China.

Zack's passing leaves an irreplaceable void in our lives, but we are comforted by his finding the inner peace he long sought.

A Memorial service is scheduled for March 11, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Cress Center, 6021 University Ave., Madison. Family will greet friends from 1 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the "Zack Parkin Memorial Fund", to be administered by National Alliance on Mental Illness Dane County to benefit adolescents affected by depression.
