Wyman Suits

Middleton- Wyman A. Suits, age 98, passed away at his home in Middleton on April 27, 2016. He was born on April 1, 1918 on a farm near Waupaca, a son of Edwin and Carrie (Brown) Suits. He graduated from Weyauwega High School in 1936. He married his beloved wife, Priscilla, on December 24, 1939. They were married 6 weeks short of 70 years. He worked for Red Owl Food stores for 40 years including opening 3 Red Owl stores in Madison. He finished his career serving as divisional manager based in Fargo, ND. He was an avid Packer, Badger and Brewer fan. He enjoyed golfing, fishing (including catching a 35 inch Musky at age 94), and spending time with his family especially at the cabin in Rhinelander and their winter home in Naples, FL.
He is survived by his daughter, Andrea (Keith) Kelling; grandchildren, Kari (Reed) Engelke and Kurt (Christine) Kelling; great-granddaughter, Zoe Engelke, sister-in-law, Helen, and many friends at Middleton Glen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla in 2009, and brothers, Glenn and Ronald. He will always be remembered as a loving, dedicated husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Visitation will be from 1-2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 312 Wisconsin Ave., Madison, WI 53703 with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Bethel Media Ministry, Bethel Horizons or Agrace HospiceCare.
