William Mccaw

Middleton - William "Bill" McCaw, age 85, passed away Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Rosalie McCaw and loving father of Jane, David (Kathy), Susan and Joel (Amy), Grandfather to Shawn, Courtney, Gretchen, Campbell, Annalissa, and Ava. He served his country as a Lieutenant in the US Army and retired as an executive from AT&T after 35 years of service. He was an active and proud volunteer for the VA hospital as well as the Pioneers of America. He was involved with scouting and was a "do-dad" with the girl scouts. He loved spending summers in northern Wisconsin fishing and boating with his family.

The family would like to thank Agrace Hospice Care, the Wisconsin Dialysis Center, friend and doctor James Bingham for all their care and support

He was preceded in death by his father, Captain Bud McCaw, mother Dorothy, and sister Jane. Contributions can be made to St Maria Goretti Catholic Church or to the family for distribution to his many charities.

Visitation will be held at St Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 5313 Flad Ave, Madison, WI 53711 on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 1pm - 2pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2pm with Rev. Monsignor Michael Burke presiding. Military honors will take place at church following the Mass.
