William Lincoln

Stoughton- William "Bill" Lincoln, age 47, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 following a 21 month battle with cancer. He was born in Madison on November 10, 1966, the son of Carl and Janice (Rabuck) Lincoln. Bill graduated with honors from Sun Prairie High School in 1984. He worked for Alpha Distributors, Pizza Oven, Capitol Newspapers and Schilling Paper Supply. On May 28, 2000 Bill married Julie Weber. Bill enjoyed watching and playing baseball, fishing and golf. He was an excellent bowler and had 13 300 games and two 800 series in his career. Bill is survived by his wife, Julie; mother, Janice (Mike) Wheeler; seven siblings, Roberta (Michael) Gerber, Rhonda Lincoln, Randy (Alison) Lincoln, Bryan Chamberlain, Gary Gilbertson, Robert (Becky) Lincoln and Mary (Steve) Lo; many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; and grandparents. A memorial gathering and celebration of Bill's life will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Cress Funeral Home in McFarland. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff of the Med/Surg floor of Stoughton Hospital and to Home Health United.
