Warren Selover

Warren H. Selover, LT. COL (Ret) USAF, Age 91, took his last flight home straight to heaven on December 23, 2013. He was born August 31, 1922 in Ionia, Missouri, the son of Warren A. and L. Myrtle (Wingate) Selover. Warren was united in marriage to Ann E. Fagen on December 31, 1945 in Aurora, Colorado. He was a veteran of WWII serving his country until his retirement in 1969 from the US Air Force. Warren enjoyed his grandchildren, hunting and loved flying his plane. He was a past commander of the Sun Prairie VFW Post 9362 and member of the Quiet Birdman (QB).

Warren is survived by his children Cheryl Mies, Meryl (Werner) Lesch, Terry (Cheryl) Selover, and Merry (Jim) Chard; 11 grandchildren; 23 great- grandchildren, brother Vernon and Robert "Hal" (Lita) Selover; also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Ann, son Gene; son in law Michael Mies, 5 brothers and sisters.

A funeral service for Warren will be held 3:00pm, Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Cress Funeral Home 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie. A visitation will be held from 1:00pm until the time of the service.
