Walter Streich

SUN PRAIRIE--Walter "Pete" E. Streich, age 95, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018.

Pete served our country as a member of the US Army in the Philippines during WWII and in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of both the American Legion and VFW for many years, and he travelled frequently to military reunions. He enjoyed a good game of chance passing time on the slot machines in both Las Vegas and Ho Chunk- Wisconsin Dells.

Pete is survived by his daughters Sandra (Stephen) Mace, Diane (Kevin) Hughes, Cynthia (Duane) Hauge, Linda Johnson, Donna (Jim) Depaul, and Josie (Ed) Kenney; son Timothy (Billie) Streich; daughter-in-law Sue Streich; 21 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents John S. Streich and Anna Frauchiger; sons Ron, Wayne, Gary, and Tommy; and siblings Herman, Hans, Hannah, Erna, and Margaret.

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM on Friday, March 9, 2018 at the CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM.
