Vivian Tallard

Madison- "Vivacious" Vivian Wilkie Tallard, 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 26, 2014. Beautiful Mother and special lady, her true joys in life were all her children. Her cup runneth over with love for all of them. Vivian was born on November 27, 1927, in Madison, Wisconsin, the daughter of Harold and Vivian Wilkie. She graduated from Wisconsin High School. That is where she met the love of her life, Ed Tallard. They married on September 21, 1946 and celebrated 67 years together. Sewing was one of her true passions, along with spending time with her dear friends, golfing, and playing bridge. She stitched our lives with threads of love, leaving us with water color memories that will stay in our hearts forever.
She is survived by her Loving Children; Kathy Howard (Dennis), Patti Biller (Ken), Sid Tallard, Vivian Steinhauer (Gary), Robin Polley (Steve), Laurie Lawrence (Ed); 15 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren, and one brother, Harold Wilkie.
Vivian was preceded in death by one grandson, her parents, four brothers and one sister.
Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation of time or money to the Dane County Humane Society.
