Viola R. Elmer

Viola R. Elmer, age 86, died Friday, January 28, 2011 in a Madison hospital.  She was born September 20, 1924, in Mt. Horeb, the daughter of Martin and Rose (Adler) Keller.  On October 18, 1943, Viola was united in marriage with Delbert Elmer in Mt. Horeb.   In addition to her husband, Delbert, survivors include: Richard (Barb) Elmer, Darlene (Tom) Phillips, Ken Elmer, Debe (Mark) Henry.  They are also blessed with l0 Grandchildren and 9 l/2 Great Grandchildren.   Her siblings, Marty (Jo) Keller, Harold (Shirley) Keller, Donna (Jim) Gehin, Rollie Keller, Diane (John) Shea, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Harold (Ruby) Elmer, brother-in-law, Ken Frey and numerous nieces and nephews.  Viola was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Florence and twin sister, Vera.   Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, February 3 at OUR SAVIOR'S LUTHERAN CHURCH 550 Lincoln Drive with Reverend Dr. David J. Berggren officiating.  Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Friends may call from 4 -- 7 pm Wednesday at the CRESS FUNERAL HOME and again at the church one hour prior to service on Thursday.    Mom:  What an example you have set for us to follow.  We love you and will miss you.
