Verna Helen Weed Meyer

Madison - Verna Helen Weed Meyer, age 98, was born to Willie and Emma Weed August 1, 1912 and left this earthly plain March 10, 2011.   She lived a full and beautiful life loving and being loved by many people, always holding dear her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Karen and son-in-law Scott, by Alice and Fei who were as daughters to her and by Te who was as a son.   She is further survived by seven loved grandchildren and five cherished great-grandchildren along with beloved nieces and nephews. Please commend her to Heaven, whatever your faith.   Your love will carry her forward. ""Tis grace that brought me safe thus far and grace will lead me home."" A celebration of Verna's life will be held in the summer.   Memorial donations to HospiceCare, Inc., Madison, WI will acknowledge the tender care she received.
