Vaughn Bremer

FITCHBURG- Vaughn J. Bremer, Sr., age 82, of Fitchburg passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Meriter Hospital.
He was born on July 31, 1934 in Madison, the son of John and Gladys Bremer. He married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Preston on June 18, 1952 in Dubuque, Iowa. Vaughn graduated from East High School and attended Madison Business College. Together, Vaughn and Barbara owned and operated Fur, Fin and Feather Pet Store in Madison for 34 years.
Vaughn is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara; sons, Vaughn Jr. (Karen) and Bryan; daughter-in-law, Jackie; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Stephan.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 2:30pm at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Vaughn's name may be given to the Salvation Army.
