MADISON-Valerie Mary Langlois, age 61, passed away peacefully from complications related to Alzheimer's disease on January 3rd, 2015. She was born on July 5th, 1953 to John and Joan Rango in Racine, WI. Val graduated from Case High School in Racine, WI in 1971.
She married Geoffrey Langlois on Aug 24th, 1972, and they moved to Madison shortly thereafter. She and Geoffrey were happily married for 42 years. Val got her Associates Degree from MATC in 1978 to begin a 25 year career as a dental hygienist in Madison where she had a special interest in children and senior patients.
Val enjoyed sewing, birdwatching, reading books, and spending time with her beloved dog, Earle. Val was an active member of the Catholic church, including teaching youth classes and being involved in the women's ministry at her local parish. Even as Val's disease progressed she maintained a strong bond with her grandchildren, and they continued to bring her joy in the last days of her life.
