Timothy J. Ziegler, age 67, of Waunakee passed away peacefully on Friday, May 29th, 2026 at his home after a courageous 2-year battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on March 19th, 1959, in Madison to Richard & Agnes Ziegler of Westport. He was happily married to Patty Kohlmeyer on October 18th, 1986, at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Westport.

Tim was a very hard worker. He retired from the Town of Westport after working 30 years as a laboring foreman. He cared deeply about his town and did a good job for the people who lived there. He also owned his own business, Tim’s Landscaping. One of his favorite things to do was take his annual fishing trip to Canada. He enjoyed grilling, Friday night fish fry’s, and spending quality time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Patty; daughters, Tiffany Hahn (Anthony) and Hillary Kassube (Wayne); three grandchildren, Sophia, Owen, and Wyatt; his brother, Tom Ziegler; sisters, Connie Royko, and Sandy Taylor; mother-in-law, Nancy Kohlmeyer; brother-in-law, Dennis (Ruth) Kohlmeyer; sisters-in-law, Shelly Ziegler and Colleen Cable; and many nieces and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by, his parents; brothers, Ronald and Richard, brothers-in-law, Leroy Taylor and Robert Royko; along with his father-in-law, Gary Kohlmeyer.

A private memorial service was held at Winn-Cress Funeral Home in Waunakee.
