Tim Manchester

Timothy Clay Manchester, age 58, of Madison, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, August 15, 2015.

Tim was born in Madison on July 21, 1957, to Burton "Ted" and Jean Neesvig. Tim was a kind and gentle soul who loved his family very much, and who was loved very much by his family. He was a caring son, brother and uncle. Family meant the world to Tim.

Tim worked at MARC East beginning in October 1986, and continued there until his death. During that time, Tim developed close relationships with the staff at MARC, and enjoyed the work and other activities there.

Tim will be deeply missed by his mother, Jean Manchester; his brothers and sisters, Jon Manchester (partner Laura Gibson), Dan (Debbi) Manchester, Ann (Devon) Baumbach, Reed Manchester, Patti (Manoucher) Madani, and Ellen Lattman; nieces Kaitlyn and Kylie Baumbach; along with countless other extended family, friends and co-workers.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Ted Neesvig; his step-father, Bill Manchester; his brother, Ted Neesvig; his sisters, Betty von Rutenberg, Jean Geving, Ruthie Olson, and Peggy Neesvig; and niece, Piper Baumbach.

A celebration of Tim's life will be held on Thursday, August 20, at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison beginning at 4:00 p.m., with a brief service at 5:00 p.m.

Tim's sense of humor and inquisitiveness will be missed by everyone who knew him. You made us laugh like no one else could. We liked you a lot, Tim. A whole lot. And we loved you even more. We will miss you forever.
