Thomas Toycen

Thomas Gerald Toycen "Tommy T" Age 51, passed away Friday April 11th with loved ones by his side, after a life long battle with health problems. Tom battled through kidney transplants, Hip replacements and several other health issues that began at childhood.
Tom was born May 31st, 1962, in Nashville Tennessee. He was adopted by, Charles and Delores Toycen as an infant. Moving to Sun Prairie in 1965, Tom grew up in and went to school in Sun Prairie and never left the Madison area.
Tom found peace while playing music and riding motorcycles. Tom's passion for music began early in life playing the organ with his mother. Tom was a gifted musician that could hear a song and play it note for note. He loved the keyboards, but could also play many other instruments. Tom was a member of many bands over the past 35 years, way to many to list. He Played anything from hard rock to the blues.
Tom's second love was motorcycles. Tom started riding dirt bikes at 5 years old and they became a part of who he was for the rest of his life.
Tom was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Delores, in 1994. He is survived by his father, Charles Toycen; his son, Shane and Shane's three children; his siblings, Laura (rick) Williams, Sue Toycen; Todd (Ranee) Toycen; his long time girl friend, Pam Wright; and their children, Robert O'Conell, Jannelle O'Conell, Kristina O'Conell, Quanda Bernard and Candie Wright; 10 grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday the 10th of May at Evangel Life Center, 4402 Femrite Dr., Madison from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
Tom would ask that you please become an organ donor. Services are pending.
The Family would like to thank The staff in the TLC Department at UW Hospital along with all of the wonderful Doctors and Nursing staff that cared for Tom over the years.
