Thomas "Tom" T. Kraft

Thomas T. Kraft, 81, of Sun Prairie, WI, passed away peacefully at home on November 15, 2025. He was surrounded by his loving family throughout this journey. Tom was born on April 12, 1944 to Robert and Charlotte Kraft. 

Tom spent most of his career with Wisconsin Gas Company and retired from WE Energies. He thoroughly enjoyed his retirement with his travels. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors, and he was a die hard Packer and Brewers fan. He was also a talented cook. 

Tom is survived by his wife Sharon of 53 years who was the love of his life and best friend, his children Jason (Emily) Kraft and Rachel (James) Oh Kraft, his beloved grandchildren Ian, Madeline, Lucas, Oliver and Lilah, mother-in-law Gertrude Hannam, sister-in-law Judy (Robert) Kloehn, brothers-in-law Herbert (Melanie) Hannam, Stuart (Dyan) Hannam, Doug Hannam, and Mark (Karolyn) Hannam, and wonderful neighbors and friends. 

The family wishes to thank the care givers at SSM at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison and their home hospice for their excellant care and service. 

A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local food pantry.
