Thomas “Tom” Acker

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas "Tom" Acker, age 65, who passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025. He was born on August 23, 1959, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Seraphine Acker, and their children: Seraphine (Jordan) Bodendein, Renee (Peter) Churchill, Michelle (Matt) Kosloske, Janelle (Nick) Dodsworth, and Breanna (Kyle) Bradley-Bartelson. He was also a proud and cherished grandfather to his ten grandchildren: Ethan, Emry, Wyatt, Harper, Wren, Hazel, Wells, Violet, Finnley, and Louis, as well as his expected grandchild, Baby Dodsworth.

He is further survived by his siblings: Gary (Sharon) Acker, Maureen Nartowicz (Tim Marotz), Luann (Michael) McNally, and Bonnie (Jamie) Dahlk and many nieces and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence "Lorney" and Tharsilla "Sally" Acker, and his brother-in-law, Robert Nartowicz.

For many years, Tom worked and lived on the family farm located on County Rd K in Ashton, WI, where he took great pride in both the land and the family that surrounded it. A man with a creative soul, he had an unwavering love for gardening, fishing, and crafting beautiful flower arrangements. His green thumb and artistic eye were evident in everything he touched, leaving behind a legacy of beauty and life that will endure.

Though we are heartbroken by his untimely departure, we take comfort in knowing his spirit lives on in the many memories and moments we shared with him. Tom had a unique ability to touch lives and will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A private family service will be held to honor his life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that, in Tom’s honor, you enjoy the beauty of nature that surrounds us—while taking time to appreciate the people in your life and cherish the moments you have with them.
