Thomas Storlie

DEERFIELD
Thomas G. "Tom" Storlie, age 65, passed away on April 28, 2016 at Omro Care Center, Omro, WI. Tom was born on August 3, 1950, in Stoughton, WI; the son of Gordon T. and Mabel F. (Schrank) Storlie. He graduated from Deerfield High School in 1969.

Tom worked 31 years at the DOT for the State of Wisconsin before taking disability and early retirement at age 55. In his early years, Tom enjoyed fishing, especially along the Kickapoo River and deer hunting in Montello, WI. He also enjoyed late model high performance cars. Tom spent his last 8 years living in Markesan, WI.

Tom is survived by his sisters, Sue (Joe) Strenger, Julie Andrew, Mary (Randy) Loomis; a brother, Rick (Robin) Storlie and a number of nieces and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by both his parents and a niece, Cassandra Sue Andrew.

A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Cress Funeral Home, 201 Bue Street, Deerfield, WI. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A luncheon will be held immediately following the service at St. Paul's Liberty Lutheran Education Center, 3494 Oak Park Road, Deerfield, WI.
