Thomas Shultz

Thomas Donald Shultz, age 28, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Feb. 17th, 2018. Thomas was born on September 26, 1989 in Florence, SC., and lived his entire life in Madison, WI. He graduated from Madison Memorial High School and was enrolled at Thomas Edison State University while working at UPS, where Thomas was employed for the past 10 years, as a Local Sort Supervisor. Thomas enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and spending time with his friends and family. He especially enjoyed spending time with his father and friends at his cabin in northern Wisconsin, which he built with this father. Thomas was a source of light to all those he touched. He was kind, giving, and cared deeply for those around him. Thomas will be greatly missed.

Thomas is survived by his father, Robert Shultz; his mother, Robin Chapman Staton; step mother, Shari Shultz; sister, Melissa Beck, grandfather, Harry Chapman; brother-in-law, Daniel Beck; his close friend Constance Lindsay; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; his dog, Rosebud; as well as his UPS family and his large group of long-time friends. Thomas is preceded in death by his grandfather Donald Shultz, grandmothers Deloris Shultz and Earnestine Chapman, and his aunt and uncle John and Linda Wallenfang.

Services will be held Saturday, February 24th at Gateway Community Church, 3510 High Rd., Middleton, WI 53562. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am with a service to follow at 11:00am. Pastor, and close friend, Richard (Dick) Sisson will officiate the service.
