Thomas John Ryan III passed away July 6th, 2024. Tom was born December 18th, 1946 to Thomas II and Rosemary Ryan. He devoted his life to God, family and teaching/accounting career. He was an enthusiastic sports fan and loved all things Badgers, Brewers, Packers and Buck’s. As a true Irishman, he was a skilled storyteller. Whether he was reading books to his children at an early age or sharing his proud moments, there was never a question of him being able to hold an audience captive. As a man of faith, he inspired many around him, helping them to focus on being the best person they could be.
Tom is survived by his wife Mary of 56 years, his two children Maureen Thornborrow (Mark) and Thomas Ryan IV (Lauren Hannes), granddaughter Veronica Ryan, his siblings Kathy Bushland (Forrest), Patti SansCrainte (Chuck) and Mike Ryan (Kari) as well as many in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
We invite you to celebrate Tom’s life with a Funeral Mass Service, held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on July 19. Visitation starts at 9:30 a.m., Mass at 11:00 a.m., and a light lunch immediately after.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Special Olympics, Tunnels to Towers (T2T.com), or charity of your choice.
