Thomas Mcgough

Thomas Patrick McGough, 74, of Madison, Wis passed away on February 17, 2017 in Madison, Wis.

Tom was born in Oak Park, Ill to Francis and Margaret McGough on December 14, 1942. He graduated from University of Cincinnati, 1964. He earned a Masters of Business Administration degree in 1968 from Xavier University. Tom was united in marriage to Jacqueline Wirthlin on January 4, 1964 in Madeira, Ohio. He achieved a successful career in business and retired from Kraft General Foods after 30 years.

Tom was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan. He enjoyed golf, travelling with Jackie and spending time with his grandchildren.

Tom is survived by his loving wife Jacqueline, Children: Tom (Lori) of St. Charles IL., Kelli Worman (Peter) of Madison, WI., Kristen Moore (John) of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by sister Patricia Sinker (Bob) of Azle, Texas; and brother Michael (Nancy) of Fort Worth, Texas; Nephews, Billy and Tim. Tom was blessed with 8 wonderful grandchildren: Brian and Kevin McGough, Nicholas, Kaitlin, Natalie and Alexa Rose Worman, Liam and Colleen Moore.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations for Mass intentions be made to St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church (5313 Flad Ave Madison, WI 53711) in the name of Thomas McGough. Donations in Tom's name can also be made to Agrace Hospice (5395 East Cheryl Pkwy, Fitchburg, WI 53711)

The McGough/Worman/Moore families wish to extend their sincere appreciation to all of those who cared lovingly and faithfully for Tom. Specific gratitude to caretakers at St. Mary's Care Center, Attic Angels Health Center, and Agrace Hospice of Madison, Wis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11am at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 5313 Flad Ave, Madison. Fr. Tafadzwa Kushamba will be celebrating the Mass. Private burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
