Terrence Gullickson

Deerfield- Terrence Michael Gullickson, age 68, died on March 8, 2012 at the U.W. Hospital in Madison. Terry was born February 13, 1944 in Stoughton to Irving and Madeline (Richgels) Gullickson. He graduated from Deerfield High School and served in the U.S. Army, stationed in France. Terry worked for the State Medical Society before joining his Father and brother Tom in the milk transfer business for 30 years. He operated Terry's Transfer Station for Foremost Farms until 2000. Terry married Mary Fish on May 20, 1989. Terry was a kind and thoughtful man with a deep devotion to God. His greatest pleasures were his dog Duchess, cars, and Door County. He is survived by his wife, Mary; brother, Tom (Susan) of Deerfield; sister-in-law, Naomi of Eden, North Carolina; brothers-in-law, Larry (Marilyn) Fish of Lake Delton and Mike (Mary) Fish of Baraboo, Ray Fish, Dale (Diane) Fish, Pat (Kelli) Fish of Reedsburg; further survived by nieces and nephews, all special to him. Terry was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, David. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 14th, 11:00am at HOLY FAMILY PARISH/ST. MARY OF THE NATIVITY, 120 S. Beebe Street, Marshall, with Fr. Michael Radowicz presiding. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon immediately following the services in the church fellowship hall. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Visitation will be at Cress Funeral Home in Deerfield on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and from 10:00 AM until the time of services at church. A special thank you to all the UW Hospital lung and transplant staff, nursing staff, therapists and the cardiothoracic unit (B4/5) for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary of the Nativity Church or Restoring Hope Transplant House.
