Teressa DiPrima

Teressa DiPrima, 75 went home to her heavenly father on Saturday, August 26th surrounded by her loving family. Teressa is preceded in death by both of her parents, Jonathan and Alice Bluejacket, her husband Peter DiPrima, and her sister Sheilia Patterson. She leaves behind her son Kelly DiPrima,  Daughters, Heather DiPrima Hasman (Karl Hasman) Tara Montemayor (Nathan Montemayor), and son Justin DiPrima (Mandy Jones).  Grandchildren, Isaiah Hasman, Lelia, Hasman, Ava Montemayor, Cole Montemayor, Noelle DiPrima. Siblings Rodney Bluejacket (Barbara Bluejacket) Clute Texas, Mary Bradshaw Lake Jackson Texas, Jenora Schippert (Jim Schippert) Lake Jackson Texas, Glenda Baker Lake Jackson Texas, J Bluejacket (Robin Bluejacket) Lake Jackson Texas.

Teressa was born on May 24th, 1948 to Jonathan Bluejacket and Alice Hollandsworth (Bluejacket). Teressa grew up in a family of seven children. In the late 1960’s she met and fell in love with Peter DiPrima and soon moved to Brooklyn New York to begin their life together. The family then moved to Madison Wisconsin in 1976 and raised their 4 children here. Mom worked as a lunch lady in the Madison School District at Madison West High School for over 25 years and was loved by all the students and staff. Family was what Teressa cherished most. Family meals were always very important and we all ate dinner together. To be around family was what made her heart happy. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She leaves behind a BIG Texas family that will miss her tremendously. All the summer vacation beach days spent together laughing and enjoying making many memories together. What gives us peace is knowing she excepted Jesus as her Lord and savior. We look forward to seeing her again one day in Heaven.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday September 7, 2023 at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Rd., Madison.  A time of gathering will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Teressa will be laid to rest at Forest Hill Cemetery.
