Teresa Zais

MADISON - Teresa Glaye Zais, age 53 died surrounded by love and family on Friday, May 29, 2015 from Lung Cancer.

Born July 6, 1961 in Cuba City, WI, she lived in Chippewa Falls, WI, Rochester, MN, and Madison, WI and worked for Mayo Clinic and UW Madison Hospital and Clinics until retiring in 2015.

Her life passions included her boys, family, friends, fishing and animal rescue work.

Survivors include two sons, Simon and Isaac; her life partner, Patti; siblings, Shelley, Lewis, and Andy; mother-in-law, June; and sister-in-law, Susie (Michael Ossmann). Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Dottie.

A gathering to celebrate Teresa's life will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Cress Center, 6021 University Ave., Madison, WI, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with food and drinks. A time of sharing will begin at 5 p.m.
