Ted Thomas Burns

Ted T. Burns, age 47, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2008 in his home. He was born August 27, 1960, in Madison, the son of Benjamin F. and Virginia (Dalton) Burns. Ted was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing and car racing. He loved spending time with his granddaughter. Ted was known as a very compassionate man. He was always there for his family and friends. He enjoyed nature and was a good listener. We have loving memories of Ted and he shall live forever in our hearts.

Survivors include his son Benjamin (Randee) Burns and his granddaughter Alison both of Madison; his stepchildren Tyson Meier and Nicole Harrison; 2 brothers: Frank and Robert both of Madison; 3 sisters: Margaret Burns and Cathy Fernandes both of Madison and Debbie Baumeister of Eastman; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother Benjamin R. Burns and an infant sister.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, August 8 at the CRESS FUNERAL HOME where friends may call from 12:00 pm until time of service. Reverend Scott Carlson will officiate. Graveside services will be held Saturday at the Haney Ridge Cemetery in Haney Twp., WI.
