Tammy Reda

WAUNAKEE/DEFOREST-Tammy Jo Reda, age 57, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, November 20, 2016 after a three year battle with cancer. Tammy was born in Madison on April 12, 1959.

Tammy was a person who truly sought the positives in life and lived each day to the fullest. It didn't matter what kind of day it was, every day was a great day and she often said "I love life!" She genuinely cared for everyone she knew and her infectious smile is something that will never be forgotten. Tammy lived by the motto, "Everything happens for a reason" and never complained about the challenges presented to her. She loved her family dearly, and always found a reason to organize a get together.

Tammy will be missed dearly by her husband, Joe; sons, Joseph "Seppi", Anthony, and Matthew; father, Richard & Mary; siblings, Barbara, Tracy and Greg, Rhonda and Jim, Mike, Kelly and Kristi, and Brian; many nieces and nephews; best friend, Laurie and Tom; "Work sisters"; "spinning bike friends"; and many others whose lives were touched by her.

A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at St John's Catholic Church, 209 South St., Waunakee. Msgr James Gunn will officiate. Friends may call at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home, 5785 Hwy Q, Waunakee on Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friends may also call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
