Susan Olstadt

Sun Prairie - Susan P. Olstadt, age 68, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at UW Hospital in Madison. She was born in Madison, Wisconsin on January 14, 1949, the daughter of Donald Sr. and Beverly (Dean) Young. Sue enjoyed spending time with her children and friends. She was an active member of Christ Presbyterian Church and was very close with a group of women at her church known as "the birthday girls." Sue enjoyed traveling to Wisconsin Dells with her very good friend Steve. She loved helping people, had a generous soul and was always willing to listen. Sue also enjoyed watching her grandchildren play, talking with friends and watching Packer and Badger football.

She is survived by her children, Jon (Amber Dernbach) Olstadt, Jamie (Elaine) Olstadt, Jessica (Ishmael Sr.) King and Joe (Stacy) Olstadt; grandchildren, Nevaeh, Halle, Esme, Lila, Ishmael Jr., Lance, and Luca; a brother, Donald Young Jr.; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nanette Young.

A private ceremony and burial will be taking place for her immediate family.
