Susan Johnson

Sun Prairie - Susan Jo Johnson, age 49, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014 at UW hospital in Madison. Susan was born November 17, 1964 in Waupun, Wisconsin, the daughter of Melvin and Lois (Peters) Pautsch. She was united in marriage to John Johnson on September 4, 1999 in Madison.

Susan operated the same small business in Madison for 11 years. She enjoyed vacationing on Dauphin Island, Alabama, Door County and Las Vegas. Susan's hobbies consisted of Tennis, Yoga, reading books on her Kindle and attending concerts and outdoor festivals. Susan had the best smile and loved to laugh.

She is survived by her husband, John; her brothers, Paul Pautsch, Tom Pautsch, Tim Pautsch, Dennis (Carol) Pautsch, and David Pautsch; father and mother-in-law, Wayne and Marie Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jamie Vascol.

A memorial service will be held in late June.

She will be missed daily, only the good die young.
