Susan Jean Chandler passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026. She was born December 20, 1959, in Madison, WI. She attended public school in Madison and Wheeling, IL, as well as at St. Coletta in Jefferson, WI. She worked at Madison Opportunity Center, Brookdale Senior Living in the dining room, and Department of Corrections performing clerical duties.

Susan’s heart was full of love for riding her bike, singing, dancing, and meeting new people. She was also known for making unique craft projects out of office supplies.

Susan is survived by her mother Diane Ruh, sisters Denise Chandler and Cheryl Gilder, brother Rick Chandler, and devoted caregiver Abra.

Susan was preceded in death by Vera Bass (grandmother), Marguerite Jeffries (great grandmother), and Richard Chandler (father).

Friends and family will gather from 2-3:00 PM on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery Chapel, 2705 Regent Street, Madison, WI 53705.
