Stephen J. Schmucker 3rd left his earthly dwelling on June 4th, 2017.
Steve was born in Darby, PA. He graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School and attended Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA.

Steve's greatest honor was serving in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1966-1972. He spent his early years at Eastern Airlines as a Customer Service Manager. Steve was personally called upon to escort 241 service member victims from the Beirut bombings off the aircraft, into the arms of loved ones awaiting their return. He also spent time at Midway Airlines and won many awards as a Regional Sales Manager for Ikon Business solutions. Steve's last position was in the logistics office at the VA Hospital in Madison, WI.

Steve was also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus in Waunakee, WI and earned the Fourth Degree as a Knight. The virtue of the Fourth Degree is Patriotism, which most certainly described Steve's loyalty to his country.

Steve is survived by the love of his life, Marsha, stepchildren Mac, Maggie, Kanha, Tikina and Mamina Mann, sisters Margaret (Ronald) Miller, Susan (John) Palladino, and nieces and nephews Amy, Michael, Kevin, Lindsey, and Johnnie. He is also survived by Marsha's family and many friends both in Waunakee and the greater Philadelphia area.

Gathering will be from 10-11:00 AM on Monday, June 12, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 209 South Street, Waunakee, WI with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 AM. Full military honors will follow mass.

Steve, we will miss the twinkle in your eye, your sense of humor, but mostly we will miss every day that you're not with us. Semper FI to our favorite Marine. Until we meet again, may God's blessings be with you. We love you!
