Skyler Shea Wilson

Skyler Shea Wilson was born June 25th, 2003. She was a 2021 graduate of Monona GroveHigh School. Skyler was motivated by academics and enjoyed swim team and dance. A proud Badger, Skyler graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 2024. A major in International Studies and Global Security with a certificate in Economics, Political Science and Philosophy. She accomplished her degree in three years. In that same span she did study abroad at Galway University in Ireland. Her college job was at the UW Bookstore and she was invested in Amnesty International.  

Skyler was a kind, brilliant, beautiful and intrepid 22 year old. Her mom and dad, Amy and Larry Wilson, have a boundless love for her. This incredibly close family made being out in the world a priority. Skyler experienced South Africa, Australia, Japan, Greece, Scotland and many more countries. Travel was a deep passion and source of joy. Known for loyalty, character and positivity, Skyler was an incredible friend. Known as Skye to many who loved her, she was giving, funny and inspiring. Beloved by friends and family, Skye made an incredible difference in the lives of all who knew her.                                       

Services for Skyler Wilson will be Saturday January 3rd at Bethany United Methodist Church in Madison. The visitation will begin at 10:00am with the funeral service at 1:00pm.
