Shirley E. Speirs

Stoughton- Shirley E. Speirs, age 91, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2009 at the Skaalen Home after a long term illness.  She was born in Paterson, New Jersey on January 27, 1918 the daughter of Ralph and Mary ( Moore) Speirs.  Shirley is survived by a niece, Sharon (Irvy) Barker and their granddaughter Trista Barker; and other relatives living in the area, including Godson, Brendon Diers.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Ruth Seyer; and a great nephew, I. Thomas Barker.  Graveside services will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Graves Cemetery, with Rev. James Koza officiating.  Memorials may be made to Skaalen Home Chapel.
