Shelton Berel

MADISON - Shelton Carlton Berel, age 33 passed away on Friday August 5, 2016 as a result of a hit and run accident while riding his bicycle training for a triathlon. Shelton was born July 18, 1983 in New Orleans, LA to Freda Berel. He is a proud graduate of Louisiana State University (LSU) in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree as a computer engineer. Shelton married the love of his life Katelynn Daniels in Reedsburg on June 25, 2011. He worked at the University Of Wisconsin Graduate School as a computer programmer. He loved being a dad and training for his next triathlon. Shelton is survived by his wife Katelynn, and their daughter Ella and unborn baby (Peanut 2); mother Freda (Frank) Cannon; brother Kenny Bayard; grandfather Paul Berel and grandmother Loriece Cole. He is preceded in death by his father Carl Clark. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday August 10, 2016 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road with Pastor Joe Corbin presiding. A visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
