Sharon Griffiths

Sharon Griffiths went to heaven on Friday April 20, 2012. She was born July 25, 1947 in Chicago, IL to Troy and Jeanne (Alakson) Pitts. In 1960, Sharon moved with her family to Sun Prairie, WI where she lived for much of her life. She attended the UW-Madison for two years, studying art and political science. On July 1, 2000 she married the love of her life, Richard, in Madison, WI. She is survived by her husband Rick; two daughters, Aimee (Kelly) Ford of Redmond, WA, and Tara Derr of Madison WI, step-son Jake Anderson of Escinaba, MI her mother Jeanne of Sun Prairie, WI, two brothers Brandon (Darlene) Pitts of Richardson, TX and Todd (Janet) Pitts of Wesson MS, four nieces, Natasha (Luis) Aguilar, Leah (Matt) Moore, Ashley Pitts and Amber Pitts. She was preceded in death by her father Troy in 2011. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 25, at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie at 6:00 pm with Rev.
