Scott A. Marlow of Madison passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022. Born in Madison, Scott was the son of Gordon and Ina (Erickson) Marlow.
Growing up with his siblings John, Jenelle and Bradley, he got into his fair share of mischief earning his lifelong nickname “Motts.” Scott made his career as a highly awarded precision machinist and had a passion for woodworking. He showcased his talents on projects in his father’s woodshop where he also taught his nieces and nephews to use power tools. Scott was a fun-loving uncle best known for greeting his nieces and nephews with “coco-bonks” on the head or holding them upside down for a WWE “piledriver.” When he wasn’t in the workshop or visiting his family, you could find Scott at his favorite watering hole, The Oakcrest Tavern, swapping stories and sharing laughs with his buddies.
Scott will be fondly remembered by his lifelong friends and family for his clever wit and kind heart.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews Lilly, Heidi, Greta, James, Maggie, Bruce, Kristian and Nicholas.
A memorial and celebration of life will be held later and will be announced.
We invite you to share your memories here on Scott's tribute wall.
