Scott Eugene Lawyer

Sun Prairie-Scott E. Lawyer, age 34, passed away at his home on Monday, October 19, 2009. He was born on March 16, 1975 in Madison. Scott was a 1993 graduate of Oregon High School. He was employed with H & H Electric in the sheet metal department and prior to that, worked for 10 years with Sub-Zero. Scott loved playing hockey as a youth and enjoyed camping with his family. He was a sports enthusiast and especially loved the Packers. He loved and enjoyed Anne's children. Scott is survived by his father, James (Sherry) Lawyer of Oregon; his mother Lynn (Robert) Jones of Sun Prairie; his brothers Jeremy Lawyer of Sacramento, CA, Gregory Lawyer of Brooklyn, WI and Marc Lawyer of Sacramento, CA; his sister Amber (Matt Buros) Jones of Sun Prairie; maternal grandfather, Robert Conners of Sun Prairie; paternal grandparents, Rex and Alice Lawyer of Sun Prairie; girlfriend, Anne Duddleston-Starr and her children, Trevor, Hunter and Nathan Starr; aunts, uncles, a niece, cousins and friends. Services will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie. Family and friends may call on Thursday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A reception will follow in the community room at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
