Scott Carey

Scott Ryan Carey, age 57, passed away on October 15, 2013 at the Sun Prairie Health Care Center, of Pancreatic Cancer. He was born November 16, 1955 in Owatonna, MN, the son of Weslyn "Dee" and Carolyn Carey.

Scott was a graduate of Blooming Prairie High School, where he was active in sports. He was a Big "Minnesota Gophers", "Vikings" and "Twins" fan. He was also an avid reader. Scott was employed for 23 years by Walgreens Distribution Center in the RX Department. He also worked for Union Cab.

Scott is survived by his mother Carolyn; brother Keith ( Marlee); niece and a nephew; 3 great nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Dee; brother Bradley; 2 aunts and grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at Cress Funeral Home 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, WI on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 11:00am with Rev. Charlie Brandt officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00am until time of the service.

Memorial contributions can be made to National Cancer Research Center or Agrace HospiceCare.
