Sarah E. Walker

November 5, 1975 — May 19, 2024

Albert Einstein said, "Energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only be changed from one form to another."

Sarah Elizabeth Walker died, Sunday, May 19, 2024, of complications of diabetes. Sarah was born November 5, 1975 in Madison, Wisconsin. She is survived by wife, Carla, and daughter, Rhea.  Along with dogs Diva and Gigi and a cat, Shadow, they created a caring, loving, and beautiful family together. Sarah has two brothers, Nate and Josh Walker, and many nieces and nephews whom she absolutely loved and adored. Lex "booboo butt" held a special loving place in Sarah's heart. Sarah had close friends whom she considered family. Very blessed indeed.

Sarah had the ability to see the good in everyone.  She accepted and loved many while they did not see the light in themselves. Sarah was always there with a helping hand and open heart. Sarah worked with people with special needs. She cherished her work and being a part of their lives. She viewed it as spending time hanging out with friends. People helping people. Always keeping her heart open no matter what came her way. Often helping others when going through things herself.

Sarah loved art and had a deep appreciation for it. Both creating it and encouraging others too. Sarah would have art nights where everyone could explore art mediums and just be.  Creating free-flowing art.

Sarah found peace and sanctuary in nature. She honored earth and all that It provides. Sarah saw beauty and healing in her plants and flowers whom she spent hours adoring and growing. Our living room is full of lush greens and sweet flowers. Always stop and smell the flowers and appreciate all this Earth has for us.

Sarah had loving innocent eyes, hazel green to be exact.  They would take me in, and I'd lose myself in her sweet, enchanting gaze. Thank you, Sarah, for being you. All of you!   I am so blessed to have been graced with the time that we spent together in this lifetime.

You were dancing around and sang this to me.   “This is our song, Carla,” you said.

Looking in your eyes
I see a paradise
This world that I've found
Is too good to be true

Standing here beside you
Want so much to give you
This love in my heart
That I'm feeling for you

Let 'em say we're crazy
I don't care about that
Put your hand in my hand, baby
Don't ever look back

Let the world around us
Just fall apart
Baby, we can make it
If we're heart-to-heart

And we can build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now
And if this world runs out of lovers
We'll still have each other
Nothing's gonna stop us
Nothing's gonna stop us now, whoa, no

I'm so glad I found you
I'm not gonna lose you
Whatever it takes
I will stay here with you

Take you to the good times
See you through the bad times
Whatever it takes
Is what I'm gonna do

Let 'em say we're crazy
What do they know?
Put your arms around me, baby
Don't ever let go

Let the world around us
Just fall apart
Baby, we can make it
If we're heart-to-heart

And we can build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now
And if this world runs out of lovers
We'll still have each other
Nothing's gonna stop us
Nothing's gonna stop us, ooh

All that I need is you
All that I ever need
All that I want to do
Is hold you forever
Forever and ever

And we can build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now
And if this world runs out of lovers
We'll still have each other
Nothing's gonna stop us
Nothing's gonna stop us

Build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now
And if this world runs out of lovers
We'll still have each other
Nothing's gonna stop us now

And we can build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now
And if this world runs out of lovers
We'll still have each other
Nothing's gonna stop us
Nothing's gonna stop us

And we can build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothing's gonna stop us now.  -Starship
